The Ohio Animal Welfare Federation (Ohio Fed) is a 501(c)3 non-profit membership organization for humane societies, dog wardens, animal control officers, and non-profit animal welfare organizations across Ohio.
Please note we are not a law enforcement agency, and we do not govern or oversee the work of other animal welfare agencies. If you suspect animal abuse or neglect, please call your county humane society or local law enforcement to file a report. Click here for a directory of where to call by county.
To promote the well-being and humane treatment of domestic animals throughout Ohio through education, advocacy, and professional resources for animal welfare professionals, elected officials and law enforcement.
We envision a future where all animal welfare professionals, elected officials and law enforcement from across Ohio have the resources, education and support they need to ensure the well-being and humane treatment of domestic animals in their communities.

As members of the Ohio Animal Welfare Federation, our organization and its leadership:
Supports the Ohio Animal Welfare Federation’s mission and goals;
Complies with applicable laws, rules and ordinances;
